Greetings, my name is Robert D. Vinton and I am from Dodge City, Kansas. In my professional tenure I have worked as a teacher and as an administrator in school districts in Colorado and Kansas. I received my Bachelors degree Colorado University in Boulder, CO., my Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley CO., and finally my Doctorate from Kansas State University in Manhattan. KS.  I have been married for 43 years to a wonderful woman, whose name is Julie. We have two sons, Joseph and Jubal and currently, we have 5 wonderful grandchildren and counting. My wife and I enjoy traveling, fishing, and family gatherings. Our hobbies include reading, exercising, and listening to music of all genres.

It is with tremendous pleasure and honor to serve as the Superintendent at the Kansas Soldiers Home, here in Dodge City, KS.
