Rob Leicht currently serves as the Director of Operations for the Kansas Office of Veterans Services.  Prior to this position, Rob, served in the Army as a Signal Officer, retiring in 2022.  He has held operational positions from Platoon Leader to Professor of Military Science and staff positions as a Battalion Operations Officer, Aide-De-Camp, and Presidential Contingency Communications Program Manager.  Rob served throughout the United States, Sinai Peninsula, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Germany.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Masters in Adult Education from Kansas State University.

Rob has been married to his wife, Aimee, for twenty-four years. They have two teenagers, two grown children and four grandchildren.

In his leisure time, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, upland bird hunting, anything that involves grilling, and roasting coffee.
